Famed for its elegance and knowing cuts, the Alaïa style, at once sensual and precise, has undeniably shaped the history of fashion. From January 21, 2019, the Azzedine Alaïa gallery in Paris is opening a new exhibition, designed by Olivier Saillard, dedicated to the art of tailoring, from the importance of cut, to the elegance of the fabric and elevated femininity. With several suits made by Azzedine Alaïa and Gilbert Adrian on display, the exhibition reflects the values and vision of fashion that the two designers shared. Their common goal? To celebrate the female form.
