Remaining optimistic can prove difficult during the lockdown. At PAA, we are still working hard to ensure that both current and future students are able to complete their courses in Fashion, Interior Design, Fine Arts and Creative Writing.

With more time on their hands, students may be wondering how they could make the most of the situation. We have compiled a list of helpful links that are sure to keep your brains occupied!

  1. Virtual tours of museums

Discover the Louvre’s current exhibition, The Advent of the Artist, from the comfort of your own home! The Musée d’Orsay, the Centre Pompidou, the Grand Palais, the Fondation Louis Vuitton are also providing virtual visits of their collections.

  1. Free Opera and Ballet

With many of its upcoming productions forced to be cancelled or postponed, the Opéra Garnier has decided to publish performances from their archives on their website. Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Cendrillon, Giselle and Les Indes galantes all feature on the program which is updated weekly.

  1. The National Institute of Art History’s (INHA) archives

The INHA houses one of the largest history of art collections in the world and following the lockdown, it made over 24 000 documents (manuscripts, stamps, catalogues, photographs) – mainly in French – completely free to access online.

  1. Free cultural and education media

If you have already exhausted what Netflix has to offer, take a look at openculture.com. There are thousands of free films (of a wide variety of genres), documentaries, online courses and books.
