Below is a selection of photos taken by University of Delaware students during their one-month stay in Paris.

Cultural excursions included guided visits at the Musée du Louvre – the former residence of the Kings of France and the Fondation Louis Vuitton, designed by the architect Frank Gehry.

Students also got the opportunity to work backstage at Paris Fashion Week.

In the final week of the trip, students visited Reims, a city in northern-eastern France situated in vine-growing country in which champagne wine is produced. The Champagne cellars are carved out of chalk and some stand on the site of former crayères (ancient Gallo-Roman chalk pits).
